Although some parts seemed a little far-fetched, overall I felt that The Forgetting was written very well. I felt that the concept of the book (getting memories from the donor) was so unique, and I also felt that Nicole Maggi stressed human stress trafficking in just the right way. Maggi’s (Winter Falls) supernatural premise can be difficult to swallow at first, but her passion comes through in the honest portrayal of a privileged girl facing horrors and abuse that exist under her very nose.
